About 

Dr. Gadi Avshalomov is a diplomate of both the American Board of Allergy and Immunology and the American Board of Pediatrics. He is on staff at North Shore–Long Island Jewish Health System and Cohen Children’s Hospital. He is a member of the American Academy of Allergy and Immunology.

Dr. Gadi Avshalomov is primarily in clinical practice caring for adults and children who suffer from all types of allergic and immunologic conditions. Practicing for more than a decade on the north shore of Long Island and Brooklyn, Dr. Avshalomov accurately diagnoses and treats seasonal allergies, asthma, eczema and immune system conditions. Dr. Avshalomov offers custom-made allergy shots to treat each patient’s specific needs based on current and scientifically approved methods.

Dr. Avshalomov, a board-certified allergist and immunologist, is a graduate of New York University and Tel-Aviv University Medical School in Israel. He treats every type of allergy as well as dermatitis, sinusitis, immunodeficiency, bronchitis, wheeze, cough and itch. Dr. Avshalomov specializes in identifying and treating hay fever as well as food and pet allergies.

Relying on the highest standards of testing and diagnosis, Dr. Avshalomov correctly determines the source of allergies such as pollen, dust mites and mold for a highly effective treatment and relief from allergies and other conditions. Dr. Avshalomov also provides IVIG/SCIG immunoglobulin therapy to treat a variety immunodeficiencies. 

The Center for Allergy, Asthma and Immunology now has an on-staff Registered Dietitian Nutritionist certified by the Academy of Nutrition and dietetics and licensed in New York State.

Dr. Avshalomov graduated from Sackler School of Medicine, Ramat Aviv. He has three awards.

Dr. Gadi Avshalomovis a graduate of New York University and Tel-Aviv University Medical School in Israel. He has done specialty training at North Shore Long Island Jewish Hospital and Schneider’s Children’s Hospital. In addition to his private practice, he is an assistant professor at Schneider’s Children’s Hospital.

• I took my daughter to see Dr. Gadi
  I took my daughter to see Dr. Gadi as she was referred by her pediatrician. I was skeptical after reading some of the reviews however it was a great appointment. Dr. Gadi was very warm and patient with my daughter. He spent a lot of time with us and was very informative. • Saved My Life

• Constantly Being Sick

  I went to numerous dermatologist whom only gave me ointments and creams but the rash never was cured ...
  I'd just about had it with the rash & the ointments and creams not working....
  
  After years of being sent to dermatologist and nothing helping me, my PCP. Dr referred me to an allergist...
  I thought I'd give it a try...What did I have to lose ? , Except for the rash and itch ..

  There are few Dr.'s nowadays that truly care...and you can feel that sincerity, and genuity from the second you meet Dr. Gadi. In my experience the element of caring has been removed from our health care system. Dr. Gadi is so patient with his patients (excuse the pun) taking the time to "talk" to you and really make you feel that when you are in his treatment room you, and the issue you've come to see him for, is the only thing on his mind.   We have been going to Dr. Gadi's office for years. Our daughter had suffered from pneumonia 5 times in her first three years of life and my wife and I were beside ourselves. Multiple opinions were that our daughter had cystic fibrosis. Dr. Gadi was the first doctor to run a full blood panel which all other doctors had not and realized her pneumovax shot never took. Once she was inoculated our nightmares ended. In addition, I always feel comfortable with the advice he gives our family for our asthma and allergy situations as well as routine sickness. • A Rare Find
  I suffered tremendously from allergies for many years. I had seen many doctors who weren't able to solve my problem. I began seeing Dr. Gadi in 2002ish for 3 years. My allergies were cured!
